In celebration of two decades as an Indianapolis marketing agency, we are sharing 20 fun facts about our incredible team. Cheers to the current team who brings creativity and passion every day. Thank you to all the team members across the years who have shaped who we are today and helped us grow. 

We had so much fun putting this list together and learning more about each other. We hope you will enjoy it too.

Pat designed his first website at age 12

In 1997, Pat used Adobe Illustrator to create his first web design for a Final Fantasy VII fan site.

Kevin has been happily engaged for three years
Kevin and his fiancé

With no date set yet for their wedding, Kevin and his fiancée often get asked, “When is the wedding?” Kevin also enjoys golf—a lot.

Kayleigh can twirl fire

Though her web dev savvy was established long ago (as a teen, Kayleigh registered her first domain and taught herself how to code), few know she was also a fire-twirling majorette in high school.

Tatum created a logo and website in exchange for her wedding dress

Tatum got married the same year that she started TBH Creative. She traded a lot of work back then for everything from landscaping services to home theater and kitchen countertops.

Addison has memorized all 195 country flags
Multiple country flags

Addison challenged himself to learn every nation’s flag and can easily identify them. He also likes blueberry muffins and enjoys playing chess and pickleball with his family.

Rie lives in Greece

When Rie joined the TBH Creative team in 2012, she lived in Texas. In 2017, after being called to serve as missionaries, she and her husband moved to Greece, where they still reside. She balances her ministering duties around design work for our clients.

For her 12th birthday, Anna’s crafty aunt got her a card-making kit that she turned into a handmade greeting card business she ran for six years.

Dianna has run three marathons

Dianna isn’t afraid to face a challenge head-on. She knows finishing 26.2 miles is a physical and mental battle, at the end of which is the unmatchable reward of knowing that the successful completion was all up to her.

Brad’s greatest joys are adventure and travel. One of his favorite trips was when he got to spend six months studying abroad in Australia. G’day, mate!

Anna doesn’t like to brag, but we’ll brag for her. She was valedictorian of her class, and her favorite subject was algebra.

Holly is a naturally gifted designer—in any medium. She always loved working with her hands and started learning carpentry and woodworking in the 2010s.

Mary Anne works out daily

Mary Anne won’t miss a workout because, to her, movement is medicine. She wakes up at 6 a.m. each morning for her workout. In college, she was president of her sorority (Pi Beta Phi) and takes trips with her sisters yearly.

During a summer studying Spanish in San Luis Potosí, Joy learned dozens of Mexican corridos and perfected her flautas-stuffing technique, but she never figured out how to roll her R’s. ¡Qué lástima!

Kevin has only shaved his beard once since 2015

Kevin has had a beard for the last nine years except for one short period when he shaved for his grandma’s funeral because she always used to say, “Stop hiding your face!” Check out the snap of Kevin above without a beard from when he was 20 years old.
